Robert James, founder of Black Diamond Pro Wash (formely Germ General) in Traverse City MI — I’m a firm believer that hard work, attention to detail, and doing right by people never go out of style.
As an outdoor enthusiast and father of two, I take pride not just in keeping properties clean — but in preserving the places we live, work, and raise our families. That’s why I built Black Diamond Pro Wash to be more than just another power washing company. It’s a reflection of my personal mission to deliver the highest standards of service to every customer, every time.

Before rebranding to Black Diamond Pro Wash, I founded Germ General, a professional power washing and disinfecting service that played a pivotal role in protecting Michigan communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. From government buildings and medical facilities to local businesses and homes, I built a reputation for reliability, integrity, and showing up when it mattered most.

In the free time Robert loves the outdoors and enjoying every bit of life with his two children. He is grateful for the opportunities to build relationships with multiple clients and serve in his community.
